$ Case Study for Quad-Opteron 2U Rack Server: This 2U Quad Opteron Server has 2 Ultra 320 SCSI hot-swappable drive bays, one Slim CD-ROM, and optional Slim Floppy drive bay. Emacs modified PSL-6701P single power supply with the barebones. Dual channel Ultra 320 SCSI on-board with low profile PCI-X slots for add-on cards such as additional RAID-5 storage controller to the external SAN, NAS, or JBOD box. It's a barebones so not too much hard work unless you need a 4U unit with redundant power supply for the full-length full-height add-on cards. CPU & DIMM are recommended with the purchase because they are specially ordered from AMD authorized distributor so you won't have service issue in the future.
